The 9-day Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Beach Trip begins in Arusha, Tanzania, and includes an overnight stay at a Lake Manyara resort.
The following several days are spent visiting the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater from Lake Manyara, going through the Malanja Depression and Masai settlements. After that, the Tanzania safari takes you to Arusha through Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley, where you will catch a flight to Zanzibar Island.
The Tanzania safari and Zanzibar Trip’s following five nights are spent on Zanzibar Island, where you may enjoy the island’s beautiful beaches, watersports, and cultural and outdoor activities.
Scuba diving, boat cruises to Indian Ocean islands, and tours of Stone Town or spice farms are among the activities available in Zanzibar. Accommodation on Zanzibar Island is available at five-star resorts and hotels on the island’s east coast.
Arusha to Tarangire
Your expert safari driver will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast and transferred you to Tarangire National Park for the animal sighting. Enjoy 2 hours a relaxing drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. The Park is rich with ancient giant baobab trees, also known as the ‘’Tree of life’’, which cover s most of the landscape of the park, after a full day of game drive, you will be transferred to your arranged hotel or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Visit Manyara National Park
We will visit Lake Manyara National Park after your breakfast, Lake Manyara National Park is known for flocks of thousands of flamingos that feed along the edge of the lake in the wet season. Lake Manyara National Park is part of the lake Manyara biosphere reserve, the highlights of the park are the thousands of pink flamingos, hot spring, elephant and the tree-climbing lion. After a full experience you will be transferred to hotel for dinner and overnight
Drive to Serengeti National Park
After an early morning breakfast, we will be heading to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro conservation area, we will have some stop during the journey at some interesting scenic point for you to take pictures and get the full experience of Tanzania classic safari. After animal viewing in Serengeti, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Full day of game drive in Serengeti
Your 5 days Tanzania classic safari and 4 days Zanzibar will begin after your breakfast, you will spend the full day observing animals at the different parts of the Serengeti. It is the wildebeest migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about hundreds zebra flow from south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rain season.
Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp, you will continue with game viewing as we drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife spotting. You will experience the Maasai tradition life on the way to Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater has vast number of animals including lion, zebra, elephant and various resident animals, it also a good spot to see the rare black rhino, thereafter you will be transferred to airport.
Arrival in Zanzibar
You will be picked up from Zanzibar Airport by your designated transfer specialist and taken to your beautiful hotel for an overnight stay and dinner. That afternoon your guide will meet you at your hotel foyer to discuss the various exciting activities that you can enjoy in Zanzibar.
Beach time and free space
After a scrumptious breakfast, you can sit back and relax and take in the sights and beauty of the pristine beaches of Zanzibar. You can look forward to a variety of international cuisine for lunch and dinner at your hotel, which is included in your package
Visit Spice Farm
After an enjoyable breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and will be taken by your Tanzania Classic Tours expert guide to the Spice farm. You will be provided with detailed information about the various spices and the different organically grown herbs and spices that are traditionally utilised in cosmetics, medicine as well as cooking. After the tour, you will be invited for a delicious lunch picnic overlooking a scenic forest where you will get the opportunity to enjoy meals prepared with the same spices, herbs and fruits that you experienced during the Spice tour.
Your 4 days beach holiday in Zanzibar will take you on a scenic and memorable journey through the Jozani forest where you will experience various animals but more specifically the rare endemic Red Colobus monkey.
Airport Transfer
On your last day of Zanzibar paradise. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and you can do some casual shopping for island mementos to take back home for loved ones as gifts.
